Procedures for granting work permits for foreigners working in industrial parks

Profile components

The application for work permits for foreigners includes the following documents:

  • Written request for work permit according to Form No. 11/PLI.
  • The health certificate is issued by a competent medical agency and is valid for 12 months, from the date of signing the health conclusion to the date of submission of the application.
  • A criminal record certificate certifies that the employee is not currently serving a sentence or being prosecuted for criminal liability, and is issued no more than 6 months before the date of application.
  • Documents proving expertise include diplomas, certificates or confirmations of the number of years of experience of experts or technical workers, accompanied by an issued work permit or confirmation that a license is not required.
  • 02 photos sized 4 cm x 6 cm, white background, straight face, bare head and no colored glasses, taken no more than 6 months from the date of application.
  • Document approving the need to use foreign workers, except in cases where it is not required to determine the need.
  • Certified copy of passport and must be valid according to current regulations.

Execution order

The work permit issuance process is carried out according to the following steps:

Step 1: Submit application to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs or the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs:

  • Submit directly to the Public Administration Service Center
  • Submit online via the Public Service Portal
  • Submit via Public Postal Service.

Step 2: Appraisal and licensing

  • Within 05 working days from the date of receiving a complete application for a work permit, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs or the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs where the employee is expected to work, issue work permits for foreign workers.
  • In case a work permit is not issued, there will be a written response clearly stating the reason.
