Dangerous chemicals are chemicals that have one or more of the following dangerous properties according to the GHS classification principles: explosive; strong oxidation; strong corrosion; flows easily; acute toxicity, chronic toxicity; causes irritation to humans; causes cancer or has the risk of causing cancer; cause genetic change; toxic to reproduction; bioaccumulation; persistent organic pollution; toxic to the environment.

The production, trading, use, storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals must comply with strict safety and environmental protection requirements. Technical regulations of QCVN 05A: 2020/BCT, amended and supplemented by Clause 2, 3, Section II of Amendment 1:2024 QCVN 05A:2020/BCT issued with Article 1 of Circular 19/2024/TT-BCT effective from April 15, 2025, the list of environmental standards of the chemical industry includes:

  1. QCVN 03: 2019/BYT– National technical regulations – Allowable exposure limit values ​​for 50 chemical elements in the workplace.
  2. QCVN 40: 2011/BTNMT – National technical regulations on industrial wastewater.
  3. QCVN 19:2024/BTNMT – National technical regulations on industrial emissions.
  4. QCVN 06:2022/BXD – National Technical Regulations on Fire Safety for Houses and Constructions and Amendment 1:2023 QCVN 06:2022/BXD.
  5. QCVN 26: 2016/BYT – National technical regulations on microclimate – allowable values ​​for microclimate in the workplace.
  6. QCVN 22: 2016/BYT – National technical regulations on lighting – Allowable lighting levels in the workplace.
